Brookwood Condominiums – Peachtree Street. Atlanta’s first LEED Certified residential high rise, SKB installed the rooftop garden landscape and irrigation. The irrigation is supplied by a 29,000 gallon cistern with a well back-up. This project was awarded LEED Gold.
Piedmont Park Bathhouse – The newly renovated event space, also know as Grey Stone for the historic bathhouse on site, was recently awarded LEED Gold because of its environmental and financial sustainability. SKB Industries had the honor of installing the landscape, as well as the irrigation which is supplied by Lake Clara Meer. SKB Industries had the opportunity to work with Smith Dalia Architects to install the new Landscape.
ASHRAE Headquarters - The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers plays a large role in the realm of LEED Accreditation, particularly in building construction. We installed the landscape for the building and the project was awarded LEED Certification.
Brandsmart, Buford - The Brandsmart store at I-85 and Highway 20 is the first commercial building in North GA to achieve LEED Accreditation. SKB installed the landscape and irrigation systems. The irrigation uses no potable water, instead recycling site water with a well back-up. The landscape comprises of drought-tolerant material that require little water. The highest LEED standard of Platinum was warded to this project.
